Jinx - MLP OC

Jinx, a redux of one of my older OCs that needed it.

This is Jinx, adopted into a Canterlot family, thought to be a lost child of one of the guards. They could not find her mother or father, so a guard volunteered his family, because he was sterile and was not able to give his wife a child. She grew up reading from magical textbooks, training amongst the other guardsmens children, and causing mischief around the city and castle. Her father was promoted to the captain of the Royal Guard when ex-Captain now Prince Shining Armor married Princess Cadence and moved to the Crystal Empire.

Being an Earth Pony, you would think she wouldn't have the abilities of a unicorn, and there is some truth in that. However, when she was born, she was found to have a sort of fracture on the little nub which would have been her horn. They were forced to remove it, otherwise it would have grown strangely and possibly hurt her and her magical ability quite badly. However, that doesn't mean she cannot use magic. Her magic is somewhat in a sense like Pinkie's "pinkie-sense". She just has so much magic built up inside her (which is why her pupils glow just a tiny bit) it sometimes just bursts free without her consent in the matter, which is why she accidentally causes bad luck.

That is why she is called Jinx, for the luck, good or bad, that she brings.

She is very withdrawn and reserved, however very mischievious with a morbid sense of humor. She loves playing people, using mind-games, and absolutely adores Discord (which she somewhat stalks after, however she's been chased off by many a guard for it) and loves her strange magic. Her cutie-mark is a black cat, symbolising her talent with Luck.

 I hope you don't think bad of her because of her colors; There just wasn't a good color for her coat other than white while her hair had to be black, to go along with her black cat cutiemark!
